Our Chief Merry Maker (or Head of Sales to you and I), Fleurie, will be jetting off to Santa Monica next week along with 21 other Bournemouth digital gurus for the renowned digital conference, Silicon Beach Fest.

Taking place between 24th – 27th June, Silicon Beach Fest celebrates the ever increasing LA tech community by hosting a number of panels, pitches and, of course, parties. The event primarily focuses on LA based businesses. That is, until now.

Lead by digital entrepreneur and No.1 advocate for the Bournemouth creative community, Matt Desmier, the group will be heading to the US to introduce the exciting and innovative things currently taking place over here in the UK. Matt discovered the LA event existed as he serendipitously named the digital conference he set up in Bournemouth none other than, wait for it . . . . Silicon Beach.

The aim of the trip is to introduce the skills, talent and expertise Bournemouth has to offer to the various companies attending the conference across the pond, as well as learn from our digital allies in the US.

Whilst over there, Fleurie will be talking as part of a panel, hosted by Matt, to discuss the benefits of marketing apps and branded games for businesses and explain why they are so effective when it comes to brand engagement and consumer loyalty.

The team heading across the pond will also include representatives from Salad, >Base, Bournemouth Borough Council and LV.
