The Drum Awards for Digital Industries recognise and reward digital excellence and we were delighted to win the award for Interactive Entertainment Website, Game or Campaign. It was especially pleasing given that there was some strong competition in our category from brands such as Skype, Channel 4, Bacardi, Cadbury and Pottermore.

LEGO Hero Factory Breakout is a free-to-play action adventure game, available on the internet, iPhone and iPad. Developed using Unity and available around the world in 16 languages, the web and iOS third person adventure game has helped push the boundaries of what children can now expect from a 100% free to play title.

After Amuzo’s success with the game at the New Media Age Awards in the Summer, the win takes our award tally for 2012 to three. Now we’re waiting with bated breath for the outcome of our nominations for the BIMA Awards, the Game Connection Marketing Awards and (big intake of breath) our BAFTA nomination for Independent Production Company of the Year.
