Amuzo’s Head of Business Development, Mike Hawkyard, will be giving a talk on self-publishing, working with publishers and secrets to navigating app stores for The Games Quarter at UCL London on Tuesday 1st July, between 6.30 – 7.30pm.
Launching for it’s first season this summer, The Games Quarter is hosted by TIGA, a UK trade association for computer game companies, along with UCL and offers a collaborative learning environment for the games industry.
The aim of The Games Quarter education programme is to address subjects game developers will find essential to create successful games studios and publish great games.
Mike’s role at Amuzo involves networking with clients and platforms, creating strategies and synergies that are beneficial for all involved and has previously given presentations for organisations like Adobe, Microsoft, UKTI, Video Games Intelligence and Creative England on the subject.
The Games Quarter is a CPD certified course of 26, hour-long evening sessions, led by experts from top UK studios as well as tutors from UCL itself. The sessions will cover four key areas: Business & Finance, Design, Development & Production, Marketing & Public Relations and General industry knowledge.
